Through participating in SalonQP, Perrelet is setting the seal on its UK re-launch. The Salon will be held from 8-10 November at the Saatchi Gallery in the heart of London's Chelsea district.
The focus is on two masculine creations – the Peripheral Double Rotor and Turbine Diver – that represent the latest interpretations of the double rotor principle invented and patented by Perrelet.
The Peripheral Double Rotor collection depicts an original model, a slightly vintage watch with classical lines, presented in five different versions favouring steel for the cushion-shaped case featuring various finishes: DLC for the more daring versions enhanced by unexpected pink gold detailing; or pure steel for the more understated models.
Turbine Diver is the collection that embodies the brand's sporting and adventurous spirit. This new timepiece dedicated to scuba diving enthusiasts is a new interpretation of the iconic Perrelet Turbine model. The Turbine Diver collection fascinates with a wealth of design details combined with sophisticated technical solutions that make it a watch that is at once massive, sturdy and yet compact.
Perrelet's Turbine XS watch will also be on display in an exhibition organised by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie during Salon QP, entitled “The Conquest of Time”.
The 2012 edition of the event will host 50 of the most prestigious international watch brands. The Salon will be open to a public composed of connoisseurs and enthusiasts who will be able to visit the booths and discover the marvels created by this fascinating industry.
